Founded in Brazil in 2001 in order to provide solutions through consulting service in specific business related to SAP® ECC, Hana, , SD, MM, NF-e (electronic NF) and all accessory Obligations Brazilian legislation. FORQUEST GO Experts with EDI-AUTOMOTIVE and all process involved and Integration EDI Inbound Outbound and with Third Partner. Realizing automotive EDI processes with VDA, EDIFACT, ANSI, ODETTE, and IDocs.

Since its founding, our main focus is to collaborate with the optimization and implementation of business processes considering the SAP® tool, implementing their locally features and those with global template application with sharp and considered positive difference in implementation services business and technology.

Considering our commitment to providing integrated solution focused on customer needs in local and global implementation, FORQUEST GO is based in Jundiaí- Brazil and also working on solutions for the Americas as well as Europe, Asia, providing and supporting world implementations for standard SAP® solution as well as to the countries in which SAP® provides location solution (Country installation).

The supply chains of automotive companies are usually fully automated. Instead of using paper-based processes, OEMs (original equipment manufacturers) and their suppliers communicate using electronic data interchange (EDI). Thereby, messages are sent from one IT system to another IT system without any human intervention.

In the following article we examine the most important EDI processes in an automotive supply chain. We show which EDI document standards may be used and which IDoc types may be chosen in order to import and export the relevant information to and from an SAP ERP system.
